What we do
We provide one-to-one, SEMH-led tuition for EHCP-funded children who are not on a school roll: children for whom anxiety, school refusal, exclusion or trauma have made mainstream impossible.
It's a method, not "a tutor". Every placement is structured, reviewed and evidenced, so the commissioning authority can see exactly what it is paying for.
We deliver this in two ways, matched to the child and the plan.
- EOTAS packages (Education Otherwise Than At School): sustained, high-intensity 1:1 support where a child's plan names ongoing tuition instead of a school place. This is our established, day-in-day-out delivery.
- Interim tuition: short-term support that gets an off-roll child ready for school and helps them move into a suitable next setting, delivered through our structured 12-week reintegration cycle.

For children on a reintegration path, our provision from September 2026 runs as a structured 12-week cycle, delivered 1:1 around the child. It's built from our founder's reintegration work at KCC's Alternative Education Service: the same method, applied to today's cohort.

Weeks 1–4
Engage
Re-establish trust, routine and a learning relationship; baseline with Boxall-informed targets.

Re-engage
Rebuild academic confidence and emotional regulation; begin liaison with the EHCP plan and the receiving setting.

Reintegrate
Attendance building, transition planning, and a supported move into the child's next educational setting.
You receive evidence of engagement and progress at each stage, and a clear planned exit: a supported move into the next setting rather than open-ended supply. For a commissioner that means accountability and a lower total cost per child. For shorter interim packages we agree a proportionate review and reporting schedule.
Our specialism: SEMH
Our primary specialism is social, emotional and mental health: anxiety, school refusal, exclusion, behavioural needs and trauma-informed practice. It rests on our founder's over 25 years in SEMH teaching and leadership, designing provision and training teachers. It isn't bolted on.
We also take children with other primary needs, including autism and complex SEND, where our approach fits. Most AP-funded children have overlapping needs, and SEMH-informed practice serves them well.

Over 25 years in SEMH teaching and leadership. She set up and led the KS2 Reintegration project at KCC's Alternative Education Service in Maidstone (2014–2016), has been Head of an independent SEN school, set up and led a mainstream Specialist Resource Provision unit, and has worked with disengaged secondary students at Oasis Academy Sheerness and most recently at Meadowfield SEN School. Nurture Group Network and Boxall Profile qualified.
